YCS Mission Statement:
By developing service and leadership opportunities for young people and service learning support for teachers, YCS promotes the ethic of service, fosters youth leadership, builds community, and enhances education in Palo Alto and East Palo Alto.

Interact Mission Statement:
Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of

-Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
-Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
-Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
-Advancing international understanding and goodwill


YCS/Interact at Paly is a merging of these two amazing programs, one local and one international,  into one seamless community where everyone is welcome. Don't hesitate to sign up for the email list, there are no obligations! Throughout the year, our club participates in various service events, fundraisers, and projects in EPA and PA and also joins other schools in our District and Area for activities and events across the Bay Area!

Paly YCS/Interact is in Interact District 5170, the largest and most effective Interact district Internationally! We are in Area 13 of the district, which consists of Gunn, Paly, Los Altos HS, Pinewood, Mountain View, and St. Francis.
