            Thursday, January 26; 5:30pm-8pm
            Resource Fair
            Cesar Chavez Academy (2450 Ralmar Avenue  East Palo Alto, 94303)Help the Parent Network for Students of Color with setup, childcare, and clean up at this event. If you are interested email the club or alicia@youthcommunityservice.com 

            Saturday, January 21; 1am-4pm
            Interact Area 13 Day of Service
            Join students from all schools in our area to volunteer at TWO service sites! 
            1) Lytton Gardens - play board games, paint nails, take residents to a concert and more 
            2) EcoMagic at the Stanford Dish - plant trees, clean up and beautify the area Meet lots of new friends, bring your friends along. It'll be a blast! To sign up or for more information go to the Facebook page.

            MLK Family Service Day 
            Lytton Plaza
            Join YCS for an Open Mic to celebrate the legacy and teachings of Martin Luther King Jr. There will be various service project activity tables, live music, and an open mic featuring community artists.

            Lanyard Kits
            Start a lanyard kit to send to children in the Lucille Packard Hospital to finish!

            Weekdays; 4:00-5:30pm
            Tutoring at Constano Elementary School in East Palo Alto

            Help out with students from K through 3rd grade with their homework from 4 - 5PM. From 5- 5:30pm work with 2nd and 3rd grades students for fun activities, such as music, games, etc..

            Save the Bay sign making
            The water company needs help painting signs above drains that say no dumping, save the bay. With a small crew of people, you would go out to multiple sites with a stencil and bright red paint to paint on the side walks.

            How to SIGN UP for an event:

            1. Come to a weekly meeting

            Sign up on one of the sign up sheets. Meetings are Thurs. at lunch in Rm 215.

            2. Reply by email

            Send a message to the volunteer coordinator or palyycsinteract@gmail.com with your name, grade, phone #, and the name of the event.
            If you are not a current member of the club or would like to be added to the emailing list, email palyycsinteract@gmail.com or go to MEMBERSHIP.
